Google Earth now available for iPhone and iPod Touch

The popular Desktop application, Google Earth, is now available for the iPhone original, 3G version, and the iPod Touch. Being as this is the first release, teething problems are expected and, there are some. Most notably, it's said thtat, rather surprisingly, the multi touch controls of the iPhone/iPod Touch are unresponsive, and the virtual globe is hard to navigate. Nonetheless, its nice to see the application available, despite the shortcomings, which are sure to be fixed in later versions. Google Earth is available now, via the Apple App Store.
